Just the one... Life

Tonbridge and Malling Community Safety Partnership's alcohol awareness campaign is aimed at helping you to make choices about how much you drink. We don't want to stop you from having a good time but we do want to explain how alcohol can affect you and how you can keep yourself safe.

Drinking to get drunk or drinking too much too often could mean that you are putting your health, your safety and even your life at risk.

The NHS recommends that:

  • Men should not regularly drink more than 3 - 4 units of alcohol a day
  • Women should not regularly drink more than 2 - 3 units of alcohol a day

'Regularly' means drinking every day or most days of the week.

The aim of this campaign is to give you the facts about alcohol so that you will know how it can affect your health, relationships and career. Then you'll be able to decide for yourself how much you want to drink.
