Community Safety

Community Wardens

Kent County Council employ Community Wardens who work alongside the Police. They are out from 7.30am until 10pm everyday.

Kent Community Wardens are distinctively uniformed, they go out and about on bike or by foot and are a very visible presence in the community. They:

  • Can tackle low level crime and anti-social behaviour (such as graffiti, littering, flytipping and vandalism)
  • Are a reassuring uniformed presence
  • Encourage communities to work together and make things better for everyone
  • Work closely with Kent Police and other professional authorities

They do not make arrests.

There are 5 wardens specific to Tonbridge & Malling and details of these wardens can be found on theKCC website
